The Foundation stage takes children from the age of 3 years until they start year 1 at primary school and they have their own early years curriculum made up of six areas of learning each with their own Early Learning Goals. These areas of learning are;

Communication Language and Literacy including early writing, sounds and letters.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World including exploring and making skills
