REACH

The REACH (Relational Evangelism and Cultivational Hospitality) Team (based on the book by Scott Wilkins) exists to build personal relationships with non-churchgoers, with the ultimate aim of drawing people to Christ.   This team approach is easy to learn and implement and provides the number one thing people look for in a church: authentic relationships.  Working together to perform acts of kindness and hospitality, REACH Team members form relationships with people in Didcot, creating opportunities for evangelism and drawing people to Christ and into church membership. 

The team is initially focussing on the 25-40 year old age group, but this is not exclusive! We are also focused on building relationships with new attendees to the church to help them become incorporated into the church family.

Our events include walks, picnics and a Treasure Hunt and games for the children.  We have also held a BBQ's and we hope to have an event involving food again this summer.  We try to hold an event about once per month, and the walks seem to be the most popular event so far.

The REACH team has been in existence for almost two years and is led by Kerry Broom, but Sara Green and Lynn Slater are heavily involved with the planning.  Please speak to one of us if you are interested in joining us on the team or if you have ideas for an event.  We'd love to hear from you.
